The stakes are too high for guesswork. Kairo gives you the clarity, confidence, and tools to make decisions that truly stick.
Paul Carr is the founder and CEO of Woodford, and co-founder of Kairo. He holds an MBA and a Diploma in Systemic Leadership and Management in Residential Child Care. He is deeply committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and supporting those who care for them.
After years of working at the intersection of frontline care and commissioning, Paul saw how broken and inefficient placement systems harmed children and exhausted resources. Kairo was born out of a need to fix that — with a solution designed by people who know the system from the inside.
Trevor Elliott is the founder of KEP, a residential childcare provider and a dedicated practitioner in children’s social care. With over 15 years’ experience, Trevor was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2020 Honours List for his services to vulnerable children.
Trevor’s lived experience as a foster carer and residential practitioner showed him how children fall through the cracks due to delays, mismatches, and a lack of relational understanding. Kairo was created to solve these problems — placing children at the centre of better, faster, smarter decisions.
